When Voyager 2 passed through the Neptunian system in 1989, Triton was found to be quite smaller than expected. It turned out to be the smallest of the 7 giant moons in the Solat System

Until 1978 it was believed that Pluto was larger than Mercury.
And in tne 80s it was predicted that Triton would be confirmed as the largest Moon in the Solar System

I would say that science, big business and government have not been good with nutrition and food.
Admittedly since we started farming we’ve fucked ourselves so are fighting a losing battle a lot of the time.

geeps, I've been saying that for years.
When I was at school if you had asthma or eczema you were a freak. Now it's quite common.
Germs are out friends, Dr Jenner worked that out a couple of centuries ago. If a mate got mumps, measles or chicken pox, me and the rest of his friends were sent to his house for tea so we would catch it.
Unfortunately, I didn't get chicken pox until my late 20s. It was probably the worst week of my life.
The whole basis of homeopathy is to micro dose what you're allergic to, building up a resistance.

Science now basically agrees with what Nans throughout the centuries have been saying "a bit of dirt does you good".
Children brought up in households without pets are more likely to develop allergies to innocuous things.
An untrained immune system which has never been exposed to a genuine, but combatible threat, sees danger where there is none.
